Cupcake Decorating & Slime Making

No matter what the occasion, here at The Fairy Bake Mother our parties can be tailored to suit children between the ages of 3-16 years. Whether you're looking for something a little different and original for your child's party, or a creative activity for a group of friends, we will work with you to create and provide a fun and enjoyable session for all.

Our parties are a great way of encouraging interest and enthusiasm for baking, as well as giving the children an opportunity to discover their own creative flare. We will prepare the perfect party/workshop at your home or venue and ensure everything is tidied away afterwards. All we require from you is enough table space for the number of children attending and somewhere for everyone to wash their hands! 

Parties are run by Amanda, the owner of The Fairy Bake Mother who has 2 children of her own and over 15 years of experience teaching children in a variety of activities. She also holds a valid DBS.

Our combined cupcake decorating and slime making party package lasts 90 minutes. The first five minutes will be spent getting the children to wash their hands and putting aprons on them to protect their clothing whilst we wait for everyone to arrive, before we move on to decorating cupcakes. Once this activity is finished we move on to slime making! We require half an hour before the party to set up.

Main Package - Combined Cupcake Decorating and Slime Making Party - 90 minutes - A minimum of 8 children at £150 applies. However for larger groups please contact us for a tailored quote as discounts will apply.
 

· An apron each for use during the session.

· 4 vanilla cupcakes per child, freshly baked and packaged in their own box so they can take them home easily.

· All icing supplied, including buttercream plus different colours of fondant for them to make their own decorations with.

· All tools and equipment for decorating, including non stick mats, rolling pins, cutters and moulds.

· Equipment & materials to make 2 pots of slime from scratch, This includes a selection of paint so they can choose the colours they want, plus coloured balls and glitter.

· Plastic pots to take their slime home in.

· A personalised certificate when they have finished.

The children will be shown how to pipe buttercream swirls on their cupcakes and how to use all the equipment supplied. They will then be encouraged to create their own designs either by hand or using the equipment provided. We will then move on to slime making where they will chose the colour they'd like their slime to be before making it from scratch and adding balls/glitter to the finished slime should they wish.. Help will be given throughout the party/workshop.

Should you wish to order a birthday or celebration cake for the party from us, then a 10% discount will be offered towards it subject to booking availability.
